Chicken Tagine with Onions and Raisins

Tajine de poulet aux oignons et aux raisins secs

نضع الزبيب في وعاء صغير ونغطيه بعصير البرتقال الطازج أو الماء. ندعهم ينتقعون لمدة 30 دقيقة

Place the raisins in a small bowl and cover with fresh orange juice or water. Allow them to soak for 30 minutes


Placez les raisins secs dans un petit bol et couvrez-les de jus d'orange frais ou d'eau. Laissez-les tremper pendant 30 minutes.

في هذه الأثناء، نضيف قطع الدجاج في قدر الطاجن.
يرش بجميع البهارات ويُضاف 2 ديسيلتر من الماء ويُطهى على نار هادئة لمدة 5 دقائق.

Meanwhile, add the chicken pieces in a tagine pot.
Sprinkle with all the spices. Add 2dl of water and cook on a low heat for 5 minutes. 


Pendant ce temps, ajoutez les morceaux de poulet dans une marmite à tajine.
Saupoudrer de toutes les épices. Ajoutez 200 ml d'eau et laissez cuire à feu doux pendant 5 minutes. 

نضيف الزيت وثلاثة لترات من الماء أو ما يكفي لتغطية الدجاج.

Add in the oil and 3dl of water, or just enough to cover the chicken. 


Ajoutez l'huile et 300 ml d'eau, ou juste assez pour couvrir le poulet. 

نغطي الوعاء ويطبخ لمدة 20 دقيقة.
بمجرد انتهاء الوقت، نضيف شرائح البصل والزبيب.

Cover the pot and cook for 20 minutes. 
Once the time is up, add in the sliced onions and raisins. 


Recouvrez la marmite et laissez cuire pendant 20 minutes. 
Une fois le temps écoulé, ajoutez les oignons émincés et les raisins secs. 

نستمر في الطهي بدون غطاء حتى تتكاثف الصلصة حوالي 10-15 دقيقة.

Continue to cook, uncovered, until the sauce thickens, around 10-15 minutes.
