أم علي هي من الحلويات المصرية التقليدية. و تُحضر أم علي عادةً من مكونات بسيطة وهي الخبز والحليب والسكر مع إضافة المكسرات.

Umm Ali

سخني الفرن إلى 200 درجة مئوية/400 درجة فهرنهايت وبطني صينية متوسطة الحجم بورق الزبدة.

Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F and line a medium sheet pan with parchment paper.


Préchauffez le four à 200°C/400°F et recouvrez une plaque à pâtisserie moyenne de papier sulfurisé.

توضع قطع الكرواسان في المقلاة المجهزة وتخبز لمدة 10 دقائق حتى تنضج.

Lay the croissant pieces on the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes to crisp them up.


Déposez les morceaux de croissant sur le moule préparé et faites-les cuire pendant 10 minutes pour les rendre croustillants.

في هذه الأثناء، أضيفي الحليب والقشدة الثقيلة والسكر والقرفة إلى قدر. يُغلى المزيج ثم يُطفئ النار.

Meanwhile, to a saucepan add the milk, heavy cream, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat off.


Pendant ce temps, dans une casserole, ajoutez le lait, la crème épaisse, le sucre et la cannelle. Portez à ébullition, puis éteignez le feu.

بمجرد أن ينضج الكرواسون، انقليه إلى طبق فرن. يُسكب فوق مزيج الحليب، ثم يُسكب فوقها القشدة البلدي.

Once the croissants are done, transfer to an ovenproof dish. Pour over the milk mixture, then top with the eshta balady.


Lorsque les croissants sont cuits, mettez-les dans un plat allant au four. Versez le mélange de lait, puis recouvrez d'eshta balady.

نضعها في الفرن لمدة 2-3 دقائق، أو حتى يصبح لونها بنياً ذهبياً.

Broil for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.


Faites griller pendant 2 à 3 minutes, ou jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient dorés.

يُزين بالفستق الحلبي المفروم ورقائق اللوز ويُقدم دافئًا.

Garnish with chopped pistachios and almond flakes and serve warm.
